Listen captures the audio sources you select for a live session and presents a transcript with Live Insights. ## Start a live session 1. Check that the intended microphone is selected. 2. On Windows, choose system-audio sharing if you need it for this session. 3. Start Listen and confirm the session is receiving audio. ![An example live transcript with recording controls above it.](https://geekbye.com/articles/listen-feature/live-transcript.png) *An example live transcript with recording controls above it.* ## Follow the session - Read the live transcript as audio is processed. - Use Live Insights as context, not as a substitute for checking the conversation. - If audio changes, verify the connected device and selected input. ![Live Insights can help develop a follow-up from the conversation.](https://geekbye.com/features/gbfeature2.png) *Live Insights can help develop a follow-up from the conversation.* ## Stop and save Stop Listen when the conversation ends. The saved session is then available for review in Meetings. Video: [Google Meet demo (34 seconds)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd7PCxB_r3U) — See GeekBye during a Google Meet call.
